Pastor Jim Van Voltenberg was raised in the Catholic religion and learned many things about Jesus Christ,  but he did not know Him. After graduation high school,  he joined the United States Army.  It was in 1987 whilst in the Army, stationed in Germany,  that a friend invited him to Church,  and he received Christ as his Saviour. 

The Lord called Bro. Van Voltenberg into the ministry and placed Scotland on his heart.  Since April 2000 he has been Pastor of Bible Baptist Church in Dundee and currently leads the church plant ministry, Lighthouse Baptist Church, Arbroath, Scotland.
